Dear Followers - It is time for a goodbye
I’ve been contemplating bidding Tumblr an adieu. Yes, it is going to be a tough decision given the fact that I’ve been here nearly two and a half years and it has been a truly pleasurable experience. It provided me with a vent for my emotions when I had nobody to talk to. It helped me discover brilliant quotations and pictures and often made me laugh with the random hilarious posts. It also gave me newer unseen friends in the form of fellow Tumblr users and for them my gratitude has no appropriate words.
In almost 5 days, I start a new life at a Fellowship. I have to leave home and that in itself is a major change. This moving means leaving everything of my past life behind and beginning afresh. I am both excited and very scared. Since it is a fellowship, I am prepared for a hectic time ahead. Hence, I doubt if I’ll be able to do a blog any more justice. Also, something inside me tells me that this blog has had its due course and it must be shut down.
I am not sure if I’ll delete it or I’ll let it be. Hopefully, I’ll know that in a couple of days. My other blogs whenpicturesspeak, cakes-and-cookies and pale-colours will not be deleted but I shan’t update them anymore either.
I will miss you my followers. I think you all know who you are. I have often messaged you about how much I love your blogs. I’ll still keep coming back to your blogs and if your anonymous ask option is activated, I’ll message you sometimes too. Meanwhile inbox me if you have a Goodreads account. It’ll be nice to have you there (: And if I ever re-start this blog or start another one, I’ll keep you all informed.
Thanks for being such a wonderful friend Tumblr. You will be missed. Thank you everyone for being such loving fellow bloggers. Thanks for the memories.
